This is JAW-DROPPING, MAGINIFICENT!!! Kristen - you are the bomb! Those flowers look so gorgeous and were so worth the work you put into them. I sure hope you consider submitting this layout - It really is just WONDERFUL!!! You GO, girl :)
This is one of the most beautiful pages I have ever seen. I love it! Your journaling is absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful tribute to "your guy". You are a match made in heaven. This kind of a page is truely a family heirloom.
Oh my word -this is drop dead GORGEOUS!!!! First that portrait is incredible. The papers were made for your layout. Love the handcut flowers and vine - all the flowers are beautiful. I also love how you've put the "cherish" rub on under the bridge. Wow, Kristin, you never cease to amaze me with your incredible talent.
Okay, WOW!!!!! You have put all of my crate paper lo's to shame girl!!! This is AMAZING!!!! Beautiful job with the flowers, the coloring of this lo and may I just add that your photo and journaling is simply beautiful!!!!!!!!!
This LO was for the 3rd week of a challenge. It was a tribute to someone we love. And I finally did one for my honey! And I have to say that I love the new Crate paper! Isn’t it pretty?
For older embellies I used a 7gypsies photo anchor, MM bookplate and Foofala buttons.
For the techniques, I did some paper tearing and sanded the pp and chipboard title. I also took a brown dye on a Qtip and “dyed” some of the edges of the flowers…..looks like inking to me though. I also whitewashed/painted the edges of the pp. My SSE were the chipboard flowers by Pressed Petals and Bazzill. Also the title is with the chipboard letters from Pressed Petals. The collage of pictures are in the minibook hidden behind the large picture. And yes.... those flowers were exactoed from one of the patterns.... took me forever but I love the look of it!!! :)
Journaling Reads:
Dear Trafton, When you told my brother in high school that you would marry me one day, I would have never guessed that it would become a reality! But I am so glad that you made that prediction! When I look back at these pictures of us, it reminds me of how far we’ve come. My love for you has grown so much over the years, more than I ever thought possible. We have been through so much together and you continue to be my rock. You have given me two beautiful children, a gorgeous home to raise them in and the priceless gift of getting to stay at home to watch them grow. You have sacrificed a lot for us and I could never explain how much we appreciate it. You are the best father I know and you continue to amaze me everyday. Thank you for loving us and providing for us. My love for you will never end. Thank you for being my everything! Love, Kristin
