I asked John to come to our Church book club as the book selection was Widow of the South which was written aout the Civil War. He came in Civil War attire and gave a very interesting talk about the battle of Franklin TN . The ladies loved him. I used some packaging paper to mist for the textured look on the white background, cut out a clip art newspaper article and gave it a distressed look and used the cannon in the corner to give it a "Civil War" look. I used the week 3 sketch from the Oct Sketch Challenge . TFL
