This is STUNNING! What a great story. My SIL wanted to marry my daughter b4 he left on his tour to Afghanistan. A man knows when he finds one worth not losing! So cool you were married in the same Church!

Oh, Laurie, such a lovely page and a tender story behind it. Beautiful pps and design, especially all the pink flowers. Love how you folded some corners with a brad. Is this all K and Co? That small round frame is so pretty..is that metal? Gorgeous page!
so pretty!!! love the story...I think you Dad was a pretty smart man!The flower peeking out in the upper corner is a cute idea. Love your Mom's dress...the skirt of it is GORGEOUS! so full. That is so nice that you were married in the same church as your parents! Me too[ my church not yours haha] its a nice sentimental connection isn't it?
you have the most amazing old family photos. i am jealous - most of my old photos are small and warn, you can't really tell who is who. But yours are awesome, as is this lo. love the soft muted colors. perfect for a wedding lo.
My parents married on January 19, 1960, a rather quickly pulled together ceremony as my father was leaving to serve as a Wireless Operator on the DEW (Distant Early Warning) line in the Yukon. My father wanted my Mom to marry him before he left "just in case". He wasn't really in any military danger, I think it was "just in case" my Mom changed her mind before he got back!! Her bouquet had pink sweetheart roses. I was married in the same church, St Pauls in Halifax, NS!! TFL!
