Okay, probably my favorite (and most important) page of the album. This is *the* picture my dad snapped (with his remote in hand) after my mom said "Yes"! And the fact that my mom said, "How romantical!"... how cute is she?! :D
*This LO I actually laid out while on an *airplane*! (Yes, scrapping on an airplane... trimmer and all!) I did journaling and glued everything down tonight. :)
The journaling actually was going to be done differently here (as decided on the plane), but an artist-friend (non-scrapper) of mine suggested I think of something different. So I came up with this. Must admit, I like it better than what I originally had come up with. :D
Early 1980, my parents went on a backpacking trip, where my dad proposed. My dad took TONS of photos, and my mom put them in an album and journaled just about EVERY picture (thank you, MOM)! Water got to the album and ruined a bunch of the journaling. So I'm deciphering it all and making this album as an anniversary gift. All titles and journaling are my mom's!
Keeping it clean and simple with little embellishments (they feel kinda naked to me... LOL), but that's my dad's style so that's what I'm going for. :)
