First I have to say, I LOVE the carousel horses!!!! I would keep the shelves and make shelves that fit under the window to store my albums, and stuff with or with out a bench seat. Have fun!!!!
Looks a lot like my "future" scraproom! DD getting married in August, and then look out! I have big plans! Wish I had those shelves, keep them!
I say keep the shelves, too. They are unique. And you just can't have too much storage.
What great "bones" you have to work with! I'd build a desk to fit in that space under the window and keep those shelves to put all of my scrappy goodies on. Good luck!!

I think keep the shelves. You can put scrap goodies in baskets or bins and store them there.

Way to go, Niki! I vote for keeping the shelves. Depending upon what you place where the desk is now, you might be able to use the vertical space inside the shelves to hang tools.

Yes, keep the shelves.. You will need them!!! You can buy some bins to make them pretty.
oo Niki what a great new space you're getting!! The shelves are a toss up for me...but I think I'd ultimately keep them since they would be great storage! But if you took them out it might open the room up a bit more...that's a tough call!! But I can't wait to see what you do with the space!
I think you should keep the shelves,,,we need all the storage we can get.
Its just such a fabulous idea to have the 'before' picture - your imagination must be working overtime, thinking about the 'after'! and pink...? well, what other colour could it be?! (Don't you already have a scrap room?!)
