I love these photos taken on our holiday to Victoria in Oct 06. The journaling reads "On our trip to Victoria we stopped on the foreshore at Geelong at a park near the Cunningham Pier. It was in this park that Reece discovered Poppykettle and seven knomes hiding amongst the rocks. This children's tale was written in 1980 by local Geelong resident, Robert Ingpen. The story is about seven Inca gnomes who sail from Peru in a clay pot with a handle and spout, "Poppykettle". They voyage across the Pacific Ocean having many a great adventure until they finally end up in Australia. Upon landing at Geelong they leave the clay pot and keys (brass ones stolen from the Spaniards prior to leaving Peru) on the beach and set off to explore. Over 300 years later, so the tale goes, two men were digging in the cliffs near Geelong when one of them dug up the two brass keys.....".

I loved this children's tale and couldn't wait to get the photos printed and onto 12 x 12. TFL.
