Autumn, Falling Leaves

This is a VERY special set of pictures for me. It was taken in the fall of 2001. My in-laws had a beautiful home that had TONS of mature trees. Always huge amounts of leaves to rake.

Since we had our first child, their first grandchild, it became a tradition for them to come and help yard clean up. It wasn't a chore though. Grandma and Grandpa ALWAYS made it a fun yearly ritual.

Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away last September. This set of pictures was the first year with both kids.

My mother-in-law was also diagnosed with terminal cancer this past spring and had to sell the house.

This is a sad autumn for us because the tradition is now broken.

This page is a tribute to my father-in-law, his love of the kids and having fun with them.
