"Summer by the Lake" Watercolors & Messy stuff

I needed to get back to DGS's books and wanted to do something different totally out of my norm ! I also wanted to scrap this photo of DGS but did not have the right pps so I got messy today with DD and created my own. I started out with a solid canvas textured cardstock color called sandtrap. Then I pulled out my inks and stamps box and went to town. Next came gesso and stencils then watercolors. I wanted the feel of bg pp to feel like our lake: old boat and dock, water kinda calm and wildflowers, brush and bugs every where. I'm very happy with the way it turned out considering getting messy is not something I do and I did not realize just how many inks and stamps I actually have. LOL! TFL!
