Tater Tot Casserole. Got this recipe from my SIL, Margaret.
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds of extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
12 package of American Cheese
1 bag Tater Tots
Mix first 4 ingredients together. Season with your favorite seasonings. Press mixture gently into a 9x13 dish. Spread soup over that, then layer with cheese and finally top with the tater tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes then brown at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until tater tots are golden.
Son made it for dinner that night. It was really good. I recommend precooking the meat and onions. lol
