To use her art is an amazing way to pay tribute to your sister...she was blessed to have a sister like you..having her spirit around you when you work must bring you great joy...
Wow ~ Can't think of a better way for you to remember your dear sister. I looks lovely and I'm sure provides great inspiration. What's really great and one thing I love about scrap booking- if you ever decide to change you're scrap room decor, then you can give these to other family members and her children too for them to have this great art to remember her too. You're a great sister ~ Wow!!
I'm so glad you told the story of the boxes. I could see that it was clearly someone's art work, but didn't know who. What a sweet tribute. The boxes are beautiful. :)
It was through my late sisters art that I drew inspiration for decorating my room. I scanned and printed all of Joannes work on velvet art paper. Then used the designs as the foundation of decor throughout the studio. I started there then decided to scrapbook my boxes with her art. I painted 80 cardboard boxes blue, then scrapbooked them. These boxes house letters, Quotes ,photos ribbon ect, ect. The boxes are labled as to what is in those boxes. You will see that in some of my close up photos of the boxes. There is also 40 metal boxes.
