Hubby has very few childhood pics, so I found one where he was with other people, used my graphics program to get rid of everyone else, then printed it on vellum in its original gray-tone. I embossed the card and also ran the vellum photo through the cuttlebug, but I should have done it several times. The straight lines broke through but I had to fussy cut the scrolly parts--a real pain and I got lazy, plus I was out of time. Next time I'll know. Also I used my 5" xyron to put the adhesive on the vellum and thought I was placing it right where I wanted it, but of course I wanted to move it. As I was moving it, the chalk that I had used stuck to the adhesive, so he looks like he has hair sticking up around the back of his head. (He claims it's his halo.) Lessons learned, but hubby is very happy with it.
