Greetings! Hope everyone is doing swell.
This is my first 2-Page LO and I think it turned out not too bad. The photos are of our kitty Hobbes (named after the cartoon Calvin/Hobbes). He is our little thief; but he's fun to watch when he is trying to be sneaky. We bought a bunch of cherries and had placed them in a bowl on our island. Well, Hobbes just HAD to investigate and thank goodness the camera was nearby. These pictures are of his approach to the bowl, choosing a cherry, lifting it out of the bowl and deciding what to do with it. He is a very orange-colored kitty, so the pictures would have completely clashed with the colors I wanted to do this LO in. The October Afternoon line of products has really caught my eye and they have a lot of their products in the blue/red/yellow hues, so I wanted to try those colors with this 2-pager. I hand-made the cherry embellies found in the center of each page, then I chose the three colors from my stash of stuff. The word "cherry" is chipboard painted and sealed to look shiny. Then I took a stamp with white ink and inked the design across the letters. The "pickin kitten' is from the Doodletype Cricut cartridge (I think-LOL!)
Thanks for stopping by!
