This is a card I made for my dear aunt in CA. With me, it always seem like my cards never turn out like I envision them...so that can be a good thing or a bad thing! I printed out this picture of Spirea from our garden for this project, cropped it and fuzzed out the edges a little. Then I used a round corner punch after I cut it out. For the background of the card I dabbed a natural sea sponge on my Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry distress ink pad and blotched it all over. I searched all through ALL of my papers and could not find ONE that I liked for matting the picture so I got out some of my wired fuzzy fiber and made loops and glued them down under the photo. The little Prima flowers were sent to me by my friend Mary (Abbygirl). I was so thrilled to get them as I have very few Prima products. They hardly ever go on sale and I can't or won't pay full price. Used a resin flower for the center. The silver metal is a shank button (I cut off the shank and attached it with a foam sticker). Added a little pearl strand and wah-lah. Oh yes, to top it off I covered the picture (although a little still got on it) and misted it all with Perfect Pearls mist. Thank you so much for stopping by and your kind comments! I really appreciate them all.
