Give a Cheer
We traveled to the Wales, England and Scotland for a fantastic two weeks in the summer of 2010, making memories every day. This layout includes a photo taken of us at the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow. On this cool rainy morning, we walked around the beautifully groomed grounds waiting for them to open. There were many of the same flowers we see here, begonias, salvia, coleus, geraniums, impatiens, and more I didn't recognize. Inside was like another world as we walked through several buildings. One area had only orchids, absolutely stunning! Another had only begonias, all kinds. One building mimicked a rain forest, very hot and wet, there were many enormous banana trees, no bananas tho. Another area had only grasses, another only succulents. The photo I've included in this layout was taken in one of the tropical areas with beautiful statuary. I would go back in a heartbeat, we loved it so much!! I'm not really an artist, but I did the leaves, stems and inking. Oops, I took the photo before I erased the pencil lines on the SCOTLAND letters:)
