Journaling reads: Why is this Mother’s Day gift wrapped in baby paper? To answer this question, we must first ask why the previous year’s Mother’s Day gift was wrapped in Valentine’s Day paper. In that particular year, Terry painstakingly selected “mom-type” paper….something with little hearts on it. The gesture was very thoughtful until the “under 50 crowd” pointed out the fine print: next to each little heart were the words, “Happy Valentine’s Day”. Thus began the tradition of wrapping presents in non-traditional paper. So, Happy Fatherversary, Merry Christmakuh, and Happy Birthoween. It’s all good!
