The journaling reads: In Spring of 2014, the Toledo Zoo turned their outside bird enclosure into "Flamingo Key." The flamingos were really beautiful to look at but also a bit freaky to watch since their knee joints bent backward instead of forward. Overall, it was cool that the zoo added these tropical birds and we enjoyed watching them.
