Description: This is what I was doing this July! Journaling reads: Searching for dragonfly and damselfly nymphs at the outlet pond with the nature conservancy was definitely one of the coolest things we did on our vacation. Jim enjoyed it at least as much as Meg did, perhaps more. We scooped water and muddy sludge out of the edge of the pond and sorted through it to find nymphs. Meg found a tadpole with both front and back legs. One group found a larval eft salamander. And we all found lots and lots of nymphs. Then everything was returned very gently back to its habitat. I think we'll do this again!
