When I was asked to participate in the Hallmark Test A Theory challenge, I chose five cards to use but only used two. I loved the one I used on this layout, so I decided to use it and create a second layout. The white portion of the frame with the pink details is the cover of one of the wedding cards from our wedding in 1997. The pink piece above with the embossed rose on it was cut from the inside of the card and the bird was stamped on some of the excess pink paper from the inside of the card and then cut out. The flowers were made by Canadian Candy and purchased as a surprise gift for me from my mom. Thank you to both of you! (I altered the leaves by using polka-dot feathers to go with my paper choices.) The pin was made by my mom (Quick Silver) and contains beads from a "friendship pin" I had in the '80's. So there are a couple of "real scraps" on this layout!

I created templates and hand cut all of the layers behind the card.
