Description: My daughter Alexis is bipolar as many of you know... She's having a very hard time this summer, her meds aren't working correctly, and she misses the scheduled aspect of school. She's having a really hard time, and as a result so is the whole family. This is a letter I wrote to her that just flowed out. A big part of it is how sorry I am that I can't "fix" her when she is obviously hurting.

poor girl. hope they find something to work!!! what about summer camp? or setting up 'stations' and using a timer at home to create the structure school provides?
