Ok I've got it started...
but it still needs help! Any suggestions?

SHCG: I love this layout and all of the warm colors that you used here. The scroll is perfect on this layout and I love the way that you used it to anchor the photo. I am also digging the negative space here and I don't want you to add anything there. My only suggestions would be to add some mats. Under the darker patterned paper (under the photo) I'd like you to mimic the brown that you have outlining the whole layout and on the "love tag". Then, under the photo, I'd love some of that rustish orange to make that photo jump off the page at me. I know that is going to be tricky with the bird stamp, you'd have to restamp to make the ink fall on the mat the right way. Always a pain. You could always mask the pic and the off white tag. Just a thought. Finally, if you could outline the "love" or use versamarker and then heat emboss with embossing powder...that would look rad! I love this and I think the photo is beautiful. Can't wait to see how you make this more you! Great job!
SHCG: I love the colors and the florish with the flowers. I would sugest maybe doing an elegant title accros the top and adding a date, otherwise I think it looks awesome!
SHCG: I think the embellishments look great. I think it needs something over the top of your photo. Maybe a title can be placed there. Maybe a half circle can be placed in the right upper corner to symbolize the love between mother and child. I know it may cover the bird, but it just looks like it needs something.
SHCG: I am thinking you need a little bit of color. I love the start, but would suggest maybe adding a deep green as another layer of patterned paper. Also, some vintage photo corners might look really cool. A really fancy title could also add more interest. I love the beautiful swirl with the tiny leaves.!
SHCG: This is a lovely start. My initial suggestions have already been offered--a mat, some labeling (date, names), and inking. I'd like to see gold ink on the edges of that brown bg cs, maybe even the torn pp and the photo, as well. I thought of brads, too, but now I'm thinking you have enough embellies to leave them out. I love the bird stamp, and I see that you do have a title, but it's difficult to see because I can't zoom into the image. I think it would be nice to outline the letters of Love in gold or copper gel pen to make it a little more defined and emphasize the emotion of your page. Might as well ink the Love tab, too. BTW, this is an adorable photo. Own the negative space. It works here.
SHCG: I love this page! It is beautful! I personally think most of the time that less is more so this is great as is. IF you were to add something, maybe a bit of journaling would be all it would need.
SHCG: i love this page. that huge flourish and small leaves look great. If you wanted to add a bit, I thikn I'd mat the photo in deep red. I'd also add some journaling, hidden behind the photo. And I absolutely do not think it needs a title. For me, the photo says it all and I think words would distract from the page.
Stunning as is... possibly a journalling stamp in the lower right? hope you share your completed layout!!!! love to see what you do decide on - you have had some fantastic suggestions here...
SHCG: Great page. I LUV it the way it is. But if you have to add something I would hand write a title and add a few lines of journaling.
ok what happened???? ther's no letters on this one LOL oh wait it doesn't need any it looks great just like it is heheheheh! very beauttiful!!! love the colors and awesome pic too!!!! well done!!!!
I must say...this is beautiful! IF it needs 'more', my eye would like something in the upper left side: maybe a 'title'. Great work, TFS.
SHCG - This is GORGEOUS so far Nicole - I love the vintage patterns/colors & your trademark textural interest. The dimensional leaves are terrific. That being said, I do think you could add just a little more (just a tiny bit, because I'm liking the focus that the wonderful photo gets now). I like Janet's & Jess' idea of matting the photo in a more contrasting color, a dark red to match the leaves would be lovely. I also think putting the names of the people, inconspiciously, would be a nice addition to perhaps the lower left corner. Finally (this is just cosmetic) maybe some touches of gold, like a little gold inking around the photo/matte &/or within the scrolls? I think you might already have some gleam in there but I can't zoom in to verify. Really, this is truly beautiful as is (but I understand your desire to add just a little extra!) :)
SHCG: i also agree with janet...maybe matting the paper...even a double mat...something to POP that picture out...i think would make a world of difference...i love the negative space...so i think after that...add some hidden journaling...and perfecto!
SHCG: I think Janet's on to something with the suggestion to mat the photo. Maybe a dark red like the leaves? I really like the negative space on the left and top. That forces you to look at the photo and all your great embellishments, IMO. Very pretty start!
Great LO maybe a title? Otherwise its great!
SHCG: Ok... first off I think it looks very good but I agree it needs SOMETHING more. My one thought is more dimension - perhaps a few small brads in the corners, or a few of those gorgeous leaves scattered across the page. I would also see what the photo looks like matted on a different color on top of the leaf paper. Right now, it all blends together.
Love the colors. Great LO.
LOVE the pic! Layout rocks!
I like it; don't think it necessarily needs anything. I love all the details, without distracting from the photo.
Such a nice layout .... very well put together, so nice!
