The title is from a commercial on tv, along with the circle and arrow. I loved the idea for a LO. I designed this paper, also. I'm learning so much here lately just by playing around. Today's new lesson: when I screw up a layout, I can create a new document and copy the layers from the old one to the new one! I made the circle and arrow design into a brush (don't look too closely, it's very crude), but when I tried to make it look full strength on my lo, all I got was a faded version so I flattened the layers I had previously created and made a layer for the brush. Unfortunately, by the time I was finished with the journaling, I didn't like the position of the photo, but couldn't change it because it had been flattened and I hadn't saved it. Won't make that mistake again. I started over with the second one, and then just copied the layers from the original as new layers to the second one, which still allowed me to move the photo, once the journaling was in place.

Journaling reads: How can I explain to you, strongly enough, that people will lead you down the wrong paths if you allow them to? I choose my words very carefully when I talk to you about these things, but still I am afraid that I won't get through to you. I don't want to make you fearful of others, only to keep you aware and vigilant so that your decisions are the right ones. Your choice of friends has always been something I admire about you. You choose well, and carefully, and I hope you always will. I hope I've taught you that the things you hear and see on television and the internet are often a wisted version of the truth, or even completely untrue. I pray that you'll always remain strong enough to be above the influence of people and things that don't have your best interest in mind. I love you from my soul, and hope that the things I say to you will be heard in a way that keeps you strong and sure in the ways of right and wrong. I love you more than my own life, my son. You are everything to me.
