Are You Sure?

Journaling reads, "Are you sure? I asked the sonographer. She had just whispered into Andrew's ear that he was going to have a baby sister. He turned around and smiled the biggest, sweetest smile at me and daddy and said, "It's a sister!" I was shocked, speechless, and that's when I asked her if she was sure. She laughed and said that she was. Don't misunderstand, it's not that I wasn't excited to hear that you were a girl, it's just that I was 100% positive that you were going to be another boy. I had been dreaming about you for over four months and in each dream you were a healthy, happy boy. I know dreams don't mean much, but I had the same vibrant dreams when I was pregnant with Andrew and they turned out to be true, so why wouldn't these? About that time, Dr. White walked into the room and confirmed what the sonographer had just told us, "that's a girl."
