I used a mixture of patterned papers here.....I thought these Heidi Swapp papers went nicely with the masculine look I was going for in this photo of my nephew that I took at a pool party on Labour Day weekend. I wanted to keep the page masculine looking so it was crazy hard not the reach for these blooms I have that matched the paper perfectly LOL!!

Love these papers for a guy LO. What caught my eye is the clock and tape measure. It reminded me of what us older folks always say..."My u've grown, where did the time go?". What a handsome guy he is and I think his good looks make these papers rock!

I know what you mean about masculine pages. They ARE harder to do, because we naturally want to add all the frou-frou to our pages. But you executed this perfectly. A little flair, but not to much for your nephew! I like how you attached the ribbon to the swirl!
