Oh goodness-I didn't realize you had such a scare before Malachi was born. I'm so glad everything turned out o.k.! This is a great idea for a layout; ultrasound pictures are not often used in lo's, but you did it not only well, but had a heartfelt story behind it. I love the use of the greens and purples and the polka dots; they really seem to fit with the black and whites!
This is another U/S that we had to have done. We went to one of the regular appointments and when we listened to the heartbeat, we could hear it skipping. I never knew that I could cry so hard or hurt so bad. I mean, he wasn't even there yet, but I already loved my son more than anything. How could that precious life have an irregular heartbeat? The doctor then scheduled us with U/S specialists that could look deeper into his heart. The first time we went (previous LO) his heart was skipping and we could see it. This time that we went, it was not skipping, so they scheduled us for one more follow-up. This was such a hard thing to go thru, but it was also very good b/c we got to put our faith in God to heal Malachi and He gave us peace. The other good thing is that we got a lot of U/S out of the deal! Malachi was not moving too much this time so we figured he was sleeping! He had his face turned toward us so that was cute!
