Love your resourcefulness in using other pieces that would normally be thrown away. Lovely page too & he does love his donuts inspite of the grumpiness I guess.

Earth-friendly ideas: This layout uses several scrapbooking "leftovers."
1. The chipboard with circles removed are the excess from a package of chipboard shapes. I turned them into frames for my layout by simply cutting them down to the size I needed and painting them red. (I made the doughnut embellishments by layering craft felt, plastic rings painted with acrylic paint and "glazed" with clear adhesive. I added beads to some of them.) 2. For the two large doughnuts I used scraps of a transparent overlay to make the clear doughnut layer. 3. The "O" in "Donuts" is a divider from a package of decorative scrapbooking tape. 4. The bottom plastic donut shape was cut from the circle divider in a package of embellishments. 5. For my title I used the excess that was around the "N" and "t" letter stickers.
