Beautiful!!! Very pretty work, and I agree with Cindy, I so loved your description here, I would have loved to find the same sentiment and thoughts back into your journaling.
Omg-this is fabuous! I love the collage look and the torn paper on the right and the placement and the journaling and, and, and...! And "Spook" with the Cricut-wahoo!!!! Tip of the giant iceberg and I can't wait to see what other wonders you produce! Btw, loved your description, and thinking maybe if it's not too late, you could add that part about CB being the shooting star-a poetic sentiment; not that I have come to expect less from you, but boy is it magical!
This is the October Page Kit from Archivers and I just had to do it!
This is my nephew Christopher Halloween night, getting ready to work the neighbor's haunted house. He was SO excited, having begged to do this for years! He spent three hours in there, scaring the wits out of the older kids and adults who come to this yearly tradition.
But, with this particular yearly tradition, so ended ours. I used to walk him around every Halloween while he trick or treated. No costume this year, no hearing him say those words and hearing him say thank you and happy halloween EACH time he received candy. No more. My heart just hurts knowing this sweet boy is turning into a young man and doesn't need me to hold his hand anymore.
Three years ago, we turned the corner onto a dark street in the neighborhood and we both saw a shooting star. I will never forget that night as now HE becomes a shooting star.
Journaling reads: Christopher was very excited to work the haunted house next door this year. Now a 13 year old, to my great sorrow, he's too old for trick or treating. But never too old to have fun!
I also used Cloud 9 Happy Halloween Chipboard stickers.
