Okay, now you went and made me go to the ugly cry! I love The Little Drummer Boy too. Growing up we had a Lennon Sisters album (grin) that I think I wore out on just that one song! I love the message of your journaling and I'm glad God's love is not dependent on what we do or don't have. I also like that you leave Christ in Christmas rather than making an X. That's a little pet peeve of mine when I see that done.

Little Drummer Boy

I grew up very poor and for several years we had no gifts for Christmas. I remember playing The Little Drummer Boy over and over and thinking that God still loves me even though I had very little. Those days are long gone and now Christmas actually includes presents. But one thing hasn't changed. I still play The Little Drummer Boy over and over at Christmas. And I still cry every time it plays!...tfl!
