Thankful

I don't know if my words can truely express the thoughts and feelings I have for the pictures on these pages. These pictures are from Thanksgiving 2006, a year ago, taken at my mother in law's home with her family. Last Thanksgiving was the last time we were able to see my husband's Papa. The picture of him and Grammie are on the first page. What a special Papa he was for Ryan and a dear husband to Grammie. He and Grammie were true best friends and loved each other so dearly. I pray that Ryan and I can cherish and love each other as much as they did.

On the second page is a picture of me and my hubby cuddling together. It was the last picture of me pregnant, only I didn't know it at the time. We left for our home on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I went in to labor that night. Sometimes I miss that feeling of being pregnant... the little movements and knowing she was so safe inside of me. Anyway, just thought I'd share this special page with you.

Of course have to mention the top picture in our pj's. Maureen, my sweet mother in law, has a tradition of getting us girls pj's each year. Always a fun time! And yes, that is her, Ryan's aunt and grammie roasting smores in their pj's. They may be crazy, but I love them! :)
