So beautiful!!! When Bubba started EI thats when I started sub-ing so I could be there too.LOL I love the stitching and the red, white and blue!! Awesome
I so love the circles. I think that moving the small circle photo down into the lower corner might work well. You have a lot going on in that upper corner. Or possibly adding some weightier embellies to the lower corner? So love the stitching and the photos. She is such a doll!
What a lovely layout! I LOVE that stitched circle! And the precious circle at the top with the color picture. Adorable. As for whether or not it is balanced? I think it is great, but perhaps another horizontal strip near the bottom will give it the weight that you want? But even if you leave it, it is fabulous!!
I like the circle stitching especially. Like the use of the pp and the intersection of them. I could agree that it could use just a bit more balance.... the easiest suggestion I could make is to add just a couple or a few more stars/big brads next to the circle and around the bottom of the journaling... just to fill a little of the empty space on the bottom of the layout. But it looks really good now though too. And the journaling is great!
Love her portraits! She's a doll. Like the Scenic Route pps and the design. BTW, my dd is a RN whose primary responsibility is the p.e.i. program in our parish. She loves it!
This is for Becky's challenge over at PageMaps and is inspired by her sketch. I chose to scrap my sweet daughter's first experience with school. (Hint! It wasn't sweet! She hated it!)
P.E.I. stands for Preschool Early Intervention. Children with disabilities in our state are allowed an extra year of education starting when they turn three so that they can get all of the therapy that they need during school hours.
Journaling: You were not thrilled to start school. You cried for a week. Each time I dropped you off you would make me promise to come get you over and over. I would go out to the car and cry. It was a huge adjustment for both of us. As time passed, you started looking forward to going. You made lots of friends in Mr. Scaramuzzo's class. Including Nakenjalynn, a former foster child of ours.
I cut the stars out of the patterned paper and glue dotted them for dimension.
Other supplies: Unknown buttons, and ribbon. DMC Red Floss
