I wrote a letter to my boys about my high school days (I did not like HS). I blurred out the years - I was too chicken to leave it in - sorry!

Wow. What a brilliant letter to your boys! In our local community this week, two teenagers committed suicide on different days. Kids just don't get it, that while high school and all the teen angst is hard in the moment, it is just a brief blip in their life. Your journaling is perfect because it says you have regrets, but in the end, you wouldn't change anything because your successes AND "failures" brought you to exactly the right place! You are an awesome mom, Lori!
