This is another for Debby's Dare and also Uniquely You. I made the backpacks out of FIMO, drew one of the fish (the twins are pisces) and made the traffic light by hand. Debby's challenge was to answer the question, "if I could freeze one moment in time, what would it be?" Since all three of my sons are grown and I still miss being a mom to little ones, I chose the moment my youngest first got on a schoolbus, and my journalling reads: "If I could freeze one moment in time, I'd choose this one. I'd stop the clock, run down the hill, and get one more hug, before you grew taller than me. I'd get one more kiss, before it became uncool to kiss your mom. I'd tickle you one more time, to hear that infectious giggle, before your voices dropped. If I could freeze one moment in time, I'd ruffle your curly locks one more time, before the curls disappeared forever. I'd re-tie your shoes, and hold your grubby tiny hands, one on each side of me, before you declared your independence and went your own way. I'd look deeply into those intense blue eyes, so full of wide-eyed wonder, before they'd see disappointment and pain. For if I could stop one moment in time, I'd want to capture the smell of little boys, the toothless grins smiling back at me, the silly jokes tossed back and forth, the funny little drawings with heads too large and arms stick-thin. If I could freeze one moment in time, I'd again be the center of your world - one more time....
