Such a gorgeous page, I love all the blues and the MS punch really stands out against the background. Just lovely! I have this MS punch too, and the thickest cardstock I have really used it on is Bazzill, which worked fine. I have not tried it on anything thicker. Your border turned out great!
This is so beautiful and serene Jackie. The punch: I haven't had any problems with mine. Yet. lol!! Try punching through a folded sheet of aluminum foil. that's supposed to sharpen them. Punch several times through it.
When I first looked at this I thought OMG there is that gorgeous paper I've had for yrs and never found a use for it...funny you said almost the same as I was thinking, it's gorgeous paper and especially lovely on this LO with all the combination of blues, the beautiful flourishes really finish it off. Re the punches, I have the exact same problem have even broken totally a couple of punches trying to get the jammed paper out, they really only like the 'thin stuff', I have a few different brands and the 'Whale Punches' by EK Success are the only onces I have that take thicker cardstock.
Ohhh this is soo beautiful! I love the amazing flourishes!! Plus I really love the flowers & papers! The watering can is great! I have ordered a MS border punch, but have not received it yet.. I hope I do not have same issue! Great work! fav & inspire!
I have never had a martha stewart punch but my fiskars punches have never given me any trouble. Try sharpening it by punching on aluminum foil, then wax paper.
love the pps! i have some too! perfect for this lo!!! and no i havent had any problem with the ms punches! is it a new one?? maybe you should take it back ??? and no in my opion i think ms is better! they cut way better to me and i have arthrits! i think they cut cleaner too! maybe you need to sharpen it by punching foil a few times then wax paper?? thats how i keep mine in shape. any way this lo is a fave!!!
Faves, faves, faves. Love, love, love the blue poppies and the borders. That's it, I'm going to use a flourish on my nest LO - yours always look so fabulous!
This is gorgeous Jackie, and yes I have had the same problem with the MS border punch. Ruined my pp. I love the blue flowers behind the invitation, and all the embellishments are wonderful, as always!!!
Wow...this is breathtaking! The colors are amazing and I love the pop of the white lacey paper in the bg. Your flourishes are so pretty and as always, perfectly placed! You are giving me a lot of wonderful inspiration for the wedding albums I am working on! You make it look very easy!!
My dsd Katie's engagement announcement and wedding invitation and photo.
I used Tim Coffee pps and stickers that I have had in my stash for years, along with some Prima flowers and MS border punch, which I ruined 2 pieces of cs with because they were evidently too thick for the punch. It even gave me fits on the plain white cs. Has anyone else experience the same problem, and are the fisker punches better?
