This LO is of me and my brother, Jason, all 6'9 of him, my mom and dad. This was a hard picture for me to scrap, because shortly after this was taken, my brother finally admitted what we had suspected for a long time, that he had a heroin addiction. My parents have been to hell and back, trying to get him help and get him through this hard time in his life. As the oldest child, it has been very hard for me to sit and watch what my parents have gone through. I only hope that he will finally open up his eyes and get the help that he needs.
The quote down in the right hand corner reads- "Friends may come and go but family is a forever bond"
I made the lollipop flowers, as a symbol, that even though life looks bleak and dreary,there is always something brighter.

I know the despair your parents and you must feel...I lost a nephew (age 21) to heroin...he had just gotten out of 6 months of rehab the night before he went out to celebrate...if possible, get the law to help...Martin Sheen said it became a choice between prison or death for Charlie, and prison seemed the best choice...

I am so sorry about your brother. I just read the heroin diaries & it really gave me perspective on what a drug like that can do to people. My prayers are with you and your family. It is a beautiful LO and the flowers are gorgeous.

This is a lovely page. Addiction is a horrible thing to deal with, I know exactly what you and your family is and will go through, but just remember, with faith, love, and support your brother can over come this. Thanks for sharing such a private topic.
