This is a memorial page I did to display at my best friend's son's funeral on Thursday.
I used alot of techniques that I had never used for this, it was quite emotional.
I used Crackle Paint on grungeboard for his name and wings, I crumpled, sanded and tore the photo mat under his senior photo, then inked. I did a window collage of his pictures, (in order)him playing footaball which he was great at,him in his tux for senior prom with big brother helping him out, him with a beer he shouldnt have had, lol, him and one of his younger brothers, him holding his footaball, with mom & dad on the field, him and 2 of his brothers when they were little, he is in the foreground of that phot and lastly, the whole Welle family together.
I also burnt around the adges of the vellum where the journaling is, it reads:
Forever Our Son, Brother, Grandson, Friend.
You will never know how much we miss you. We are so proud of your accomplishments, Saddened by those you have not yet achieved. You will live forever in our hearts, be remembered forever in our tears. Damon Scott Welle 9/21/89-4/25/09
I also used distressed stickles on the tears coming down the vellum.
Dissapointed to see that alot of my supplies were not here but I listed them seperatly
