Sugar Nellie ' A Good Book'

Using this beautiful stamped image called 'a good book' i watercoloured with the derwent inktense pencils which are just great! I carefully cut the image out. placed to one side whilst working on the single layer scalloped nestie. I took a stamp from my stash with leaves & chose to stamp in a shade of brown to fall behind the image once finished. I then added some 'Diamond' stickles. Added 3d foam pads on the rear of image and adhered it to the mount. backing papers are from the cricut pad 'doodlecharms' I distressed them using Tim Holtz 'Broken China' ink pad with a small stencil brush to create this edged effect. I also did this to the fine dotted background paper after using the tearing technique. lastly added some pretty flowers & a yellow netted butterfly from my craft stash. Tags say ' Cherish Time Out'
