There's my other gun. I don't use it for pages. Things like cards or signs is where I use it most. In the back of this shelf-drawer are the non-Gold refills.

================
Differences between the Red ATG and this Blue Tape Depot Gun. Price 714 is $40 and up, the TD gun is $25.

Workings:
If you look closely at the tape in the front of the blue gun, you'll see that the slots are bigger than for the ATG GOLD refills which are to the far left of this photo. So to use the GOLD which I highly recommend, you'll have to either modify the plastic piece in the gun or every refill by breaking one of the slats each time you refill it.

The 714 has the tape run to the top or far left side of the gun if you were point the gun away from you. The TD one to the far right. So it was "tricky" for me to use since I'm now used to the way the 714 works.

Also the TC gun is really more for the wider tapes, wtih the 1/4" wide tapes you WILL have problems with it doing funky stuff on the back roller and becoming tangled.

So I "modified my gun to work more like the 714. I put an empty roller on the front before putting new roll on. I used a piece of popsicle stick to make the roller work right. On the back roller, I rolled a used strip of the 1/4" tape on the bottom, put a punched out cardstock to keep it neat. Then I used a cut out piece of foam board to help keep the tape corralled on the back roller. Not the best of solutions but it's working for me.

I only use this gun which has the Tape Depot refills that WILL turn yellow on cards and miscellaneous non-photo projects.
