Journaling: Mommy wasn't sure how she wanted the nursery decorated. She just knew she didn't want BLUE! One night I jokingly asked what she thought of a John Deere room. She liked it, and the idea stuck. The problem is that there isn't any John Deere nursery stuff available, so we had to improvise. I found some John Deere material and used that to make the curtains and a comforter. Your father painted the room yellow before things got rough between him and Mommy. After that, we finished doing the room by putting other stuff in there. The clock had been in Mommy's room, The art prints were picked up at Cracker Barrel during a trip Mommy & I took to Ohio. And the photographs of old John Deere tractors were taken by Papaw Jim at an antique auto show at church. (Roseanne Liggett also made you a comforter out of the same material at the top of the curtains.)

All stickers from a John Deere set picked up at HL. Mat corners punched with a Fiskars punch. This doesn't show the entire nursery, obviously, but it was the one shot that included the most.
