This is a pic of the journaling for my Dad collage for the What your Kids think about Dad challenge.
I did a mini book using my Zutter and tied it all together using ribbons. There are 5 pages...each one with the questions and answers to what each kid thinks about Dad.
The questions:
1. What is something dad always says to you?
"I love YOU" "Go to bed" "Why you resisting" were the answers.
2. What makes dad happy?
Hitting Tamon...(my 12 yr old who wrestles w/dad)
and winning the bbq cook off
3. What makes dad sad? When Tamon hits him back (LOL) and loosing the cookoff were the answers
4. How does your dad make you laugh? beating up Tamon, he can't talk, and tickling were the answers
5. What was your dad like as a child?
all of them said...a boy
6. How old is your dad?
36
7. How tall is your dad?
5'7 from all but 3yr old...she said THAT tall piniting to the sky.
8. What is his favorite thing to do? ALL said BBQ
and play playstation
9. What does your dad do when you're not around?
Play playstation...3 yr dd said...Come FIND me!
10. If your dad becomes famous, what will it be for?
BBQ...3 yr dd said "having lots of coins"
11. What is your dad really good at?
BBQing & fixing things
12. What is your dad not very good at?
cooking in the oven...and cooking pizza were the answers...3 yr dd said surfing!!?? lol
13. What does your dad do for his job?
Electrician
14. What is your dad's favorite food?
unanimously STEAK
15. What makes you proud of your dad?
He is a good dad...he is funny
10 yr ds said..." I WILL be proud of him if he ever learns to use the oven!" (I died laughing! My hubby ALWAYS burns pizza!)
16. If your dad were a cartoon character, who would he be? Diego and timmy turner's dad...10 yr old said Luke Skywalker
17. What do you and your dad do together?
pretty much everything...fix things...go shopping(?) ans wrestle
18. How are you and your dad the same?
we ae both funny, tan, and a boy were the answers
19. How are you and your dad different?
Duh..he is OLD! ALL OF THEM SAID THAT!
20. How do you know your dad loves you?
He says it all the time.
6 yr old said...he hits me. I said...He hits you? Thats how you know he loves you? He said...yeah..duh..love hurts. (LOL...the whole wrestling thing!) The older ones said...he buys me games!
21. Where is your dad's favorite place to go?
Game stop~Game Crazy...any place that sells games!
