Here's the completed two-page Tribute to Dad layout which uses a regular page protector on the left-hand side and a photo pocket page protector on the right. The right side incorporates the Father's Day gift tag and card into the design.

A few design elements I enjoyed working into the left-side layout were:

* The hand prints of the girls used as the border
.
* The hidden journaling page behind the photo pocket with its pull-out tab (located behind the three jeweled buttons).

Extra design elements I enjoyed adding to the right-side layout were:

* The interactive card

* The gift tag that becomes the layout title

* Adding the polka dot background paper quickly, easily and evenly to each photo mat and the tag mat. I did this by first cutting black cardstock mats to fit each section (except the section where the card would be). Then, glued them to my work table top how they would be arranged in the layout (using temporary adhesive).

Next, I trimmed the polka dot paper smaller than the outside edges of the mat configuration, rounding the corners and gluing it into place over the black mats.

Then, I gently pulled the cards covered with dot paper off the table top and flipped them over so I could see the slivers of space between them where I could cut them apart. I trimmed the large section away (where the card goes) and added the photos and tag to the mats; inserting them in pockets when finished.

Thanks for looking.
