Description: Cruisin' around Cape Horn - it was COLD! We could see penquins on the cape!

The picture inset is of the lighthouse and home on Cape Horn - (There is only one house, it is the lighthouse keeper's family's home).

The water was smooth as glass, fortunately. We've heard that the waves can be 40' high, but we had it good that day. In fact it was smooth the entire cruise in all around South America.

I had the big picture enlarged to a 12 x 12, even though it is not a particularly good photo, it was very eventful to go around the Cape Horn.

Any further south and we would have been at antartica!
