paper: Creative Imaginations - Marah Johnson design
matting: Core Core 'dinations & DCWV metallic stack
ribbon: Pinecone Press

I didn't have an embellishment that I liked for this paper, and I wanted something rich and elegant. I decided to try pleating this beautiful opalescent organdy ribbon, I am really pleased with how it came out.

These were pictures of our first glimpse of Versailles.
Jounalling: "The palace started out as a hunting lodge then was altered into a country house. The biggest remodeling came after 1643 when Louis XIV decided to have the building enlarged and surrounded by beautiful gardens./ When the palace was mobbed during the Revolution the golden gates were looted. They were replaced a month before our visit."
