Sue, this is such a beautiful LO. Awesome pps. , flourishes and flower. Love the colors.
What a momentous occasion. But, diaper changing is really not bad enough to require full scrubs though. LOL at least not the first diaper- a few weeks later some of them WILL be. (I know he's in the OR. I was just kidding.) This is a pic I love to see-dads changing diapers! Usually a rare occasion!
This is wonderful! Such beautiful, perfect colors, and that was so awesome of the nurse to run back and get the camera! I'm so glad she did because these pictures are fantastic!!!!!
This would have to be a 1 in a million foto, you dot see the dads out here in the delivery room changing the nappies, even tho they go in, what a great memorable lo sue, I bet the lil one is growing very quickly
Gorgeous lo, Sue! You are right, he does look sterile!!! LOL!!! The (good) fathers in this day and age are so much more hands on than when we had our children! I love that!
Oh my, what a lovely layout. I saw this in the featured section and had to stop by to say how much I love it. The distressing, and all the embellishments are great And what a sweet memory to capture. When my nephew was born through an emergency c-section as well, but 10 weeks early, nobody was able to get a photo until three hours later when he was settled into the NICU. But, boy oh boy, you better believe I got pictures then. :)
I just adore these colors, and papers! you are right these are such great pics! It looks like he was protecting himself from the diaper lol. I love how he got the first diaper and how it was caught on film! This will be a tresured moment for years to come. great work!
You have such a special touch with this collection of papers Sue!! I love all the paper layers and the flourishes add such a pretty touch. You son looks like a doctor here :) ....I'm sure he's going to be an awesome Daddy!
The 1st think I think of when I see this LO is "America's Funniest Home Videos". They always have videos of the Dad's all dressed up in hazmat gear to change the babies diapers and then the Mom has to come and finish it. LOL This is such a wonderful LO. SO happy someone caught this moment for you all.
THese are the most PRECIOUS photos. How wonderful that you were there too (or did someone else take the pictures!). You obviously had him very well trained! Gorgeous little pink grandson too - lucky you!
Priceless photos on this beautiful page! Your distressing is so well done and I love the little hint of a crocheted piece poking through the tear. My favorite part is the big blue flower with the rosettes plus the punched flowers and vines! Awesome!
Yes it does, and these pix are just too precious for words! I was at the hospital with my son for the birth of his first after a C section as well, looking just like this, and for his first attempt at changing a dirty diaper. He didn't know to hold the heals and they were headed right for the mess when I reached over and grabbed them only to receive the first golden shower from my first grandson! LOL! My son was as delighted by my shower as I was by his changing a messy diaper!
Love what you did with the blue awning pp! The crocheted piece peeking thru the distressed edges is so pretty! Looks great on the polka dots! Great job Grandma!!
How many fathers get to put the very first diaper on their sons? Well, look here!!! My son did! (I didn't even know he knew how to put a diaper on .... hehehe!) I LOVE this picture! After a difficult birth (emergency C-section) he looks sterile from head to toe! Looks like my son is going to be a good daddy too!
Addition: My son explained further - that he was so distressed that he forgot to bring his camera when they took his wife in - AND the nurse went back and got it for him. Now THAT was sweet of her. If she hadn't done it, we wouldn't have these pictures!!
