The original plan was to scrap this in all black and silver to match the tacky metal bull. I bought a frosty-shiny plastic-like mat and put it over silver metallic paper. Then matted the pictures and put them on and it was very boring. The plastic-like mat had black scroll lines everywhere and looked nice, but boring. Then I used teal mats to bring some life into the color scheme and that did the trick. The journaling is on silver metallic just like the paper behind the mat.

Here is what the journaling says:

SUNDAY, JUNE 28th

The Erie, Pennsylvania license plate meet ended on Saturday and the Sunday after the meet ends is traditionally FLEA MARKET DAY for the Denharts and Dave Hollins! Followed by Church's Chicken.

The Flea Market that looked the most interesting was not in Pennsylvania, but rather an hour or so away in Ohio! Dave Hollins was in the lead all the way, followed by Bill and me, who were followed by Paula and Betsy. We hit some road construction and detours, but we made it.

The Flea Market was not particularly eventful except for one couple selling baby animals. They had a basket of newborn skunks for $200.00 each and I wanted one so badly. I can't believe how cute the baby skunks were – Paula and I got to hold one. Then I REALLY wanted one!

The baby raccoons were only $100.00 each and I would have gladly settled for one of those instead. Just precious and so lovable and cuddly. The last animal I petted was a baby coyote, but he didn't appeal to me as much – he just looked like a skinny dog.

We checked the Internet and consulted our GPS, but no Church's Fried Chicken places were anywhere in the vicinity and Dave had to head in the opposite direction so we parted ways with him until the next license plate meet and Betsy and Paula followed us in the direction of Florida.

When traveling through Akron, Ohio, Lo and behold, the sign said there was a Church's Chicken at the exit. We couldn't get off the exit ramp fast enough – we were starving. Just off the exit before we got to Church's Chicken we passed an interesting place – “Felons For Hire.”

Food won out of curiosity and picture-taking and we arrived at Church's Chicken only to be told there were no public restrooms – no where to wash our hands. I had an assortment of skunk, raccoon, and coyote on mine! Fortunately we had plenty of ice in the cooler and some soap, so we were able to “wash up” (but not go to the bathroom)!

On the way back to the interstate we took the pictures of the silver bull in front of “Felons For Hire.” Akron has some interesting places!
