GDCG: Neat page! Critique wise I think that maybe you could alternate the pictures and the journaling so that they aren't split halfway down the page? Other then that I love the colors you've used and it's a great idea to scrap events like that.
GDCG: I don't think that the different journaling blocks make it too busy, I think it would help if you picked one color (like from the pp) and used it to mat your photos and do the journaling blocks. Then you could do the title and the tabs in a contrasting color. I hope that helps!
GDCG: I like this idea! I also agree with some of the other suggestions to mix up the pictures and journaling blocks. Or put all the journaling on one block. :)
GDCG: I was going to say the same thing Crazycricut said! I love this idea. Is this a challenge? I would love to try this next year. I don't know how far I'd make it though... it'd be neat to look back on it later and see what a year of our lives was like.
GDCG: You might try putting the journaltag next to the picture so that they are not so seprate. The bright colors of the journaling draws the eye instead of the pics.
GDCG: fun idea! I won't give any critque - everyone else has taken all my ideas! lol nice job preserving everyday life, you will be so amazed in 40 years time to go back and read what it was like "in the day."
GDCG: I really like your title work here. Critique: The pretty scalloped border on the left gets lost on the patterened paper so you could put a strip of solid paper under it. Also one journeling box with bullets for each day would be a good idea. Then, to get some cohesiveness try matting all the photos with one color. Neat idea...i've been considering this but am so far behind on other scrapbooking that It woudn't get done for years. :(
GDCG: My only suggestion would be to mix the journaling and the photos throughout the lo so it doesn't look so seperate. Other than that I think it is great.
