This is for the November "scrap your ***" challenge. With the twist (who knew the kids would have a flower stamp that matched perfectly?) Journaling says "ok. I will freely admit to anyone that asks... I have a crazy life! I am a mumma to four boys. I am still a newlywed. sort of. my hubby and i just got married last new year's eve.One of our boys lives with his Mom in Minnessota. He is 13. Another splits time between us and HIS mom, here in town. He is six. Our third child sees his father on weekends. Sometimes. He is three. And finally, we have a baby. Brand new. No other parents, no step parents. He is two months. All are loved by TONS of people. Hubby just got a job with INSANE hours. I have a job with 35 hours when i am not out on maternity leave. Our house is NEVER organized. I have a bit of a hoarding (aka collecting EVERYTHING) problem. I would MUCH rather scrapbook than clean! So I usually do. I love to cook and to invent new dishes. My kids hate to try new things. I am a total coffee junkie. This morning I am on my third or fourth (probably fourth) cup. I do this every day. Our six year old is a cub scout and a first grader. Our three year old is in daycare. All three boys are video game junkies and I think the baby will be too. The Star Wars Theme song is sang ad nauseum in my house. We all love books and most nights we have book time before bed. The boys love arts adn crafts and always want to scrapbook with me...for about three minutes. They are still young nad have short attention spans-except with video games. Our house is small because when Chris bought it, he had no idea that his family would grow so much so quickly. (lol. he hadn't met me yet) The photo on the page is a pretty accurate daily picture of me, except my hair is a little longer. It is pulled back into a frizzy pony tail most of the time for convenience. I am not a make up or jewelry wearer. That requires too much effort. I do like to get dressed up on occasion...THEN I do jewelry and make up. Every once in a while I go on a makeup and jewelry kick. It lasts a minute. Then I get lazy again. Everyday life in the Hawks household just keeps getting crazier. One of these days I will have a chance to sit down and write my book,,,and when I do, I will have so much to draw from,just from My Life of Creative Chaos. *And now I am off to change yet another diaper* 11-15-09"
