Wow. I love your tribute to him. He sounds like a really fun guy to be around. Cool pic. He looks like he was a bit onery (cheeky in AU)! Im sorry that you had to lose him at such a young age. Great design, really cool way to hide the journaling and have the tabs blend into the LO so well. Another one to go into my faves!
sounds like your dad was a decent man w/ a deep love for life...I'm sorry that he had to go so soon.scrapping has always helped me w/ the loss of my beloved brother,he.too, died alittle over 2 years ago.Alot of love went into this lo.I grew up poor and learned that "pictures are a poor man's inheritance".What more could you do to honor him and his memory than to scrap. It is important that your children know their loving grandfather.Beautiful :)
You sure were. I miss you so much. It's hard to imagine you've been gone for nearly two years. You were larger than life, sooo much fun to be around. You made me laugh (& I still do) at all the silly things you did & said. I tell your Grandkids all about you all the time & I'm scrappin a lil album just about you for them - so they will know you. Dad.
Sorry everyone. I dont often talk about how it feels to no longer have my Dad living. He was only 56. It sometimes helps to type or write it down.
Anyway, behind his photo is a large journaling box which I have used to put the newspaper clippings of his funeral & other messages. On the other side is my Eulogy which I read at the funeral. This is just a small tribute to the person who taught me so much. We were so much alike & alot of the time we got on each other's nerves cuz of this reason. TFL xx
