This is GORGEOUS.....Love the old Southern plantations!!! I've seen this one and how could you NOT LOVE the perspective that those gorgeous old oaks give....BEAUTIFUL LO!!!
This is gorgeous!! What an amazing place!!! I love your button wreath. It looks great. I would leave it. I like the little pop of red mixed with the blue and green.
Great idea with the button wreath! I think this one with the red really pops ... the white and green one might blend in too much. Anyway, the large focal photo is really eyecatching and the scallop edges compliment the layout very well. Sorry I missed the other Oak Alley layouts, but where exactly is this place? It is beautiful!
Love the unique button wreath, Vija! What majestic looking photos; certainly seems like an amazing place to visit. Don't blame you for wanting to scrap all the beautiful photos! Goregous layout!!
AWESOME!!!! You rock these layouts, Vija!! I love the colored wreath you used for a little "POP"!! I have that pp, almost used it all : ( Your pics are awesome & I love the size of the top one. Great layout/design!!!!
LOVE the button wreath, Vija! Oak Alley is the perfect name for this place. It reminds me of scenery in the Mel Gibson movie The Patriot. I don't blame you for wanting to scrap every one of the photos of this majestic spot!
As you can tell from all the comments i think everyone is too envious over the trees and house to pay too much attention to the LO, lol. but i think that's the whole point! ur bringing the point of scrapping back to the key focus- a fabulous photo! The LO is so well crafted- kudos to you!
So beautiful! The button wreath was an awesome addition. I like this one. Im sure that you have paper and other ideas that would be perfect for your green/white wreath and I can't wait to see it. How is Kobe doing now? Oh and this is definitely going into my faves!
Wonderful! That top photo is so spectacular that it doesn't even look like a photo! Wow, what a place and what lovely trees. I ADORE the button wreath and am totally keen on lifting that idea! Hope you don't mind. I think it looks terrific here.
its gorgeous! and that wreath is awesome...wish i could come up with clever ideas like that!!! Leave it there...it's wonderful. and that top photo is AMAZING! wow ...what a wonderful view...it just pulls you right in !
This is my fourth page of Oak Alley layouts.....this place was so beautiful I could do a whole album just on Oak Alley. I didn't put a title on the page as this will just follow on from the other Oak Alley layouts, and besides, I always struggle with titles. I really wanted to keep the large photo as the focal point but after I glued it down I found it so difficult to 'fit' anything else onto the page. Scrappers block set in and the page sat there in that state for more than two weeks. I ended up making a button wreath. Actually I made two.....one with green and white buttons and this one. The green & white one blends in with the background paper too much so I am trying this one but I'm not sure about it. It's only got a dab of adhesive on it so it's easily removed. What do you think? I appreciate all feedback.
