SHCG: I love the blocking of the pp in the circles! There's a lot going on, but I like it. :) I could see the photo with a black mat to make it stand out a bit more. Great LO!
SHCG: I love how you brought all of the colors and patterns together on this one!! Awesome LO!! I agree that a bit more black added somewhere might be cool.
SHCG: I really like how everything is scattered on this page, but how it all kind of comes together too. Your use of patterned paper is wonderful. That is one thing I have a hard time with is using multiple patterned papers, but I absolutely love the look. It adds so much to the page. My suggestion for this page would be to add some more black to balance the bold black in the title. Maybe even adding a scribbled border around your circle with a black marker would work. Just a thought!
SHCG: This is fantastic. I love all of the colors! I have to admit I did not really see the 3 embellies on the bottom right until I read Brenda's comments. I liked her suggestions for those. I also agree that some black around the photo would help too. Wow, every time I go back to look at it, I see more!!!! Awesome job!
SHCG - What a FUN page & pic, Marlene! Michael is mackin... love the crown. The assortment of playful pp & stars is super, nice overall placement of elements. I like how you did the title but would like to see that black again somewhere else (or maybe even a dark grey), perhaps as inking or a thin matte around the pic for more emphasis around it. Terrific challenge response!
SHCG: But, man, does he get paid well! This is a funny lo, and I love the placement of everything. Great use of color and patterns without making it too busy. I have three minor suggestions: I like the black in the title and would like to see the top circle's edge inked in black. I also think it'll set it apart slightly from the bottom circle. I like the embellies at the bottom, and I think you purposefully matched them with the pps' colors, but I feel they fade into the bg a little, as a result. Instead, I see the orange flower where the star is, the star where the button is, and the button where the flower is. Last, I'd like to see the journaling in the left side of the page pulled into the rest of your lo. I love the splotches in the green cs. Great job on the challenge, Marlene.
