SHCG: Great page and I can't lie I had to check out those flowers and buds they are very cool. Very classy page but I do like the touch of "it's just a notebook page" background. It goes perfect with her t-shirt.
PS if you are brave... maybe a little doodling would add another layer of fun. A little white doodling, like stitching, on the larger black scallops would tone it down a little (like others have suggested).
SHCG: I like seeing your avi in a lo. Lots of nice textures going on here and additional colors to accompany your photo. The date embelly is a cute touch. I like the polka dots on the scalloped borders, but I really feel that the black is too stark for this soft pallette. Yet, I also feel the thin black mat is a nice way to set apart the photo. I'm wondering if you can loosely swipe some opaque ink over the punched scalloped border to lighten it up, but still let hints of the black show through. I'm also wondering if you really need the scalloped border at the bottom, since it seems to weigh your page down a bit. Not sure, I'd have to see it without it. Very sweet photo of the two of you.
SHCG: What a fantastic picture! The way you adorned this page is fantastic. The colors are great and the natural "fibers" really add to this LO. Nicely done!
SHCG - Absolutely loveliness! Beautiful photo. I love the garden-y choice of elements here, w/ the aqua, pinks, flowered pp & floral embellies. Great textures! Marvelous overall design. The lined pp background works well. This is an outstanding LO already, but I can't help but wonder what it would look like if you used a deep blue/pink/green or gold for those scalloped parts, instead of the black, as I think those would've had a softer effect. Such a pretty page - sensational scrapping!
SHCG: Cute, adorable page with fabulous colors. I love that you scrapped your profile picture because it is so darn cute. Many elements to this page are fabulous. The black scallops, the brown flowers, the strips of patterned paper, the pink smile letters - I like all of it. My suggestion would be to punch holes in that bottom scallop to mimic the top scallop - just to create some consistency. Beautiful page!
