My mom found these photo booth pictures of her and my dad from waaaaaaay (hehe) back in the day and another set from just recently. The difference is 25 years but the feelings between them are still the same. They're still so in love and the pictures prove it. I'm so happy my mom gave these to me to scrapbook. And I'll always think of the movie August Rush when I see this layout cuz that's what I was watching when I made it.
Some techniques for making this layout: 1) I received a brand new set of Valentine stamps from Elle's Studio, so I stuck them all to an acrylic block then used VersaMark ink to create my own patterned background on kraft cardstock. 2) I die cut scalloped hearts and regular hearts from cardstock and patterned paper (or rather the cute patterned packaging that Elle's Studio stuff comes in) and stitched them in rows to the right side of the layout. I bent up the hearts for dimension. 3) I cut out the sentiments from three different flash cards (xoxo, hugs, crush) and added them between the hearts before stitching.
